Welcome to Triple C Counselling

Updated: Feb 1

Hello!

My name is Michelle, and I'm excited to extend a warm welcome to you as I embark on a journey that means a lot to me both personally and professionally: the launch of Triple C Counselling. Setting up my own counselling practice in Batemans Bay has been born out of my wish to provide a nurturing and healing space for people struggling with anxiety, depression, and the impacts of traumatic experiences. Triple C Counselling stands for Compassion, Connection, and Calm – three pillars I believe are vital to improving mental health and wellbeing.

Compassion

Compassion is not just a word; it's the foundation upon which my practice is built. I understand that seeking help can be a vulnerable experience, especially when we're talking about mental health issues. Let's be real - while stigma and judgement around mental health is lessening in society it's still an issue and can be a barrier to seeking help. My promise to you is that within our counselling sessions, you'll find a safe space, free of judgment. Here, your feelings and experiences will be met with the empathy and understanding you deserve.

Connection

In today's fast-paced world, genuine connections can sometimes feel scarce - and for a lot of people, they can feel scary. Yet, connection is essential to healing. This is especially true when healing from interpersonal violence where the way to healing is through relationships with others. Through the therapeutic relationship we will build, my aim is to bridge the gap between your struggles and your strengths. Together, we will explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at a pace that feels right for you. We will work towards developing skills, tools and strategies to develop resilience and wellbeing. I'm here to listen, guide, and create a space where you can truly be yourself.

Calm

The impacts of anxiety, depression, and trauma can leave us feeling adrift, alone and lost. Within the chaos, I believe there is always a space for calm. Through evidence-based psychological techniques personalised to your particular needs, I'm committed to helping you find moments of peace and hope amidst the turbulence. Calm is not just the absence of chaos; it's about a space where you can develop resilience that allows you to navigate life's challenges with confidence.

Your Journey Matters

Your journey towards healing is unique, and I'm here to guide, support, and empower you as you navigate the path ahead. Your progress will be driven by your strengths, your goals, and your commitment to your own well-being. Together, we will create a space where you can explore, heal, and transform.

Taking the First Step

Acknowledging the need for support is a powerful (and difficult!) step, and I commend you for considering me as your partner on this journey. If you're wrestling with anxiety, depression, or the aftermath of trauma, I'm here to lend an open ear and a compassionate heart. Taking that first step towards healing can often be the hardest, but remember, you're not alone on this path.

Let's Begin

I invite you to explore my website, learn more about my background, and reach out when you're ready to take the next step. Together, we'll foster an environment where compassion, connection, and calm thrive.

I look forward to the possibility of working together.

Warmly,

Michelle
